Kempten with its approximately 70.000 inhabitants is also called the „metropolis of the Allgäu“ and also claims the title „oldest city of Germany“. Kempten offers everything a shoppers heart desires. Numerous shops in the pedestrian zone, as well as a large shopping center (Forum Allgäu) invite you to stroll and linger.

Well-known attractions such as Neuschwanstein Castle in Fuessen, the Cambodunum Park in Kempten, the ski jumping hill in Oberstdorf or the Breitachklamm are not far away. Excursions to Lindau at Lake Constance, to Switzerland or to Austria are no problem.
